Indians recalled RHP Kevin Slowey from Triple-A Columbus. Slowey's first year in Cleveland didn't go well, as he posted a 5.14 ERA over eight starts and spent most of the season on the DL with a lat strain. His nice 2008 campaign seems very long ago.
