Indians manager Manny Acta said Josh Tomlin (undisclosed injury) is a candidate to be placed on the disabled list. It's not clear at this point what ailment Tomlin is dealing with, though it's possible it could be a phantom injury created in order to allow him to work through his struggles away from a big league mound. Tomlin has posted a 5.28 ERA through five August outings.
