Indians manager Manny Acta said Jose Lopez is "looking very good right now" and is making a strong case to win a bench spot. Lopez is hitting .529 (9-for-17) with two homers and has played first, second and third base. "Not too long ago, he was an All-Star in this league," Acta said. "He went to winter ball and worked very hard to get back to where he was. He's in a lot better shape than when I saw him in Seattle. He gives us that right-handed bat that can play first, second and third. There is still two weeks to go, but he's looking very good right now."
