Indians activated DH Travis Hafner from the 15-day disabled list. Hafner picked up three hits in six at-bats for Triple-A Columbus on a short rehab assignment and, more importantly, appears to be over his oblique issue. He's hitting cleanup against the Pirates Friday and will presumably do the same on Saturday and Sunday, but he'll be relegated to pinch-hitter duty during the team's nine-game road trip to National League parks.
