In his first start since June 12, Jason Hammel yielded four runs in six innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays. Back to full health after a recent illness, Hammel held the Jays to just four hits, but two of them were home runs. He struck out seven and walked one. While he left in line for the victory, Tommy Hunter coughed up the lead in the seventh inning. It was nice to see Hammel miss some more bats, but he'll need to show more consistency before earning his way back into relevancy in mixed leagues. He'll face the Indians next week at Camden Yards.
