In his first start since being activated from the disabled list, Barry Zito pitched seven innings of two-run ball to defeat the Cubs on Tuesday night. The Giants swept the doubleheader and Zito earned his first win of the year. Zito, out since mid-April with a mid-foot sprain, looked terrific during his four rehab starts, posting a 2.20 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 25/7 K/BB ratio over 28 2/3 innings, and continued to roll against the Cubs. He gave up just four hits and two walks, striking out three. Get him active in NL-only leagues if you haven't already.
