In his first start of the season, Brett Anderson dominated the Twins, allowing just one run on four hits over seven innings.
He struck out six and walked none. While one wouldn't be advised to get carried away by such dominance against a meek Minnesota offense, it's difficult not to get excited by a supremely-talented hurler shining in his first appearance coming off Tommy John surgery. Anderson hadn't toed the rubber in the big leagues since June 5 of last year. He needs to be owned in all AL-only leagues and deeper mixed fantasy formats going forward. Proprietors of standard-leagued teams should take a chance on him if they have deadweight on their rosters.
