In an attempt to highlight his versatility, Steve Clevenger will see time at first base during spring training games. The Cubs lack depth at the position, and with Anthony Rizzo playing for Team Italy in the WBC, it's a great opportunity for the former infielder to prove that he's capable of handling the position defensively. If successful, it would certainly boost his chances of making the Opening Day roster.
