Huston Street (lat) played catch Wednesday for the fifth straight day. "It's progressing nicely and I'm ready to start pushing it," Street said. Street will start long-tossing later this week and, according to Padres manager Bud Black, is "getting closer to the mound." The closer will need a couple rehab appearances before rejoining the team's bullpen.
