Hudson's contract option for 2015 was exercised by the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Hudson pitched in just three games for the Diamondbacks in 2014 after spending most of the season rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. The move will allow him and the club to avoid arbitration in the offseason.
