Hudson has hit a rough patch in the month of August, posting a 6.00 ERA in three starts. We have seen a regression since the All-Star break (1-3, 3.57 ERA) after his stellar first half (7-6, 2.87 ERA). At 39-years-old, it would have been amazing if Hudson kept up his early season success throughout the entire 162-game schedule, so this minor regression is likely a result of the veteran getting tired down the stretch. He is still a solid option going forward, but owners should not expect the dominant results we saw in the first half.
