Hudson was hit hard Monday, surrendering six runs (five earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out five in the loss to Colorado. Despite pitching poorly Monday, Hudson was actually in line for the win due to the Giants putting up seven runs on opposing start Franklin Morales. However, the bullpen couldn't hold the lead in another classic Coors Field offensive showdown. Hudson deserves a pass for this outing after holding the Rockies to just one run over eight innings his last time out at home. He will return to AT&T Park for his next start against the Tigers this Sunday.
