Howie Kendrick went 3-for-5 with a double and run scored in Sunday's loss to the Royals. Hitting in front of Albert Pujols, Kendrick finishes the Angels' season-opening series 5-for-12 (.417). Coming off a career season in 2011, he should be in store for an even better 2012.
