Howie Kendrick went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Monday's win over the A's. An excellent Cactus League debut for Kendrick, who hit .364/.413/.439 last spring before batting .285/.338/.464 during the regular season. Hitting in front of Albert Pujols, Kendrick's numbers could inch even higher this year.
