Howie Kendrick is day-to-day after being diagnosed with a sprained left knee. The good news is that he doesn't have structural damage in the knee, but the bad news is that he won't play for at least the next few days. The Angels will re-evaluate him at the end of the week to see how much progress he's made. Grant Green will handle second base while Kendrick is out.
