The dinger was Hosmer's second of the season after he struggled to a .225/.281/.292 slash line in the season's opening month. Perhaps this will get him going for the month of May. The 27-year-old is still making plenty of contact but has been a bit unlucky with a .250 BABIP, so expect things to improve eventually. The window is still open to buy low on the left-handed slugger.
