Although Hayes is reporting that Holliday is still feeling some soreness in his surgically repaired thumb, he'll give it a go nonetheless Saturday and take live BP. Depending on how his thumb responds during the session, Holliday could be set for a return in the near future. However, given that his thumb is still sore, that may be an optimistic outlook. More clarity on Holliday's status should come Sunday when he can determine how his thumb is feeling a day after taking live swings.
