Holliday was rested Sunday both in part to a balky knee and his 0-for-18 slump at the dish, but the Cardinals are banking on the therapy day revitalizing the veteran. Normally a safe candidate to deliver 20-to-25 home runs and an average near .300 on an annual basis, Holliday is batting just .260 on the campaign and is on pace to finish with only 16 round trippers.
