Holliday had started the first five games of the season for the Cardinals, finding himself at first base on Opening Day and occupying left field in every game since then. The veteran will get a regular maintenance day Sunday, however, despite the fact that he is 5-for-14 in his career against opposing starter Jeff Locke. In Holliday's stead, Brandon Moss will get the nod in left field while Matt Adams takes over at first base.
