Holliday is expected to test his injured quad with some running next week, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports. He's been ramping up his activity in recent days, hitting off a tee and throwing, but Holliday has yet to progress to running after suffering a Grade 2 quad tear in early June. Regardless, the Cardinals are still holding out hope that he could return before the All-Star break.
