Hicks went 2-for-3 with a walk in Saturday's win over Detroit. Since returning from the DL, he's hitting .286 (8-for-28) with two home runs in nine games. Hicks has played well enough since his return from the DL that he'll continue to be the starting center fielder until Byron Buxton returns from the DL (which could be four to six weeks or more). If Hicks continues his recent play, he could force the Twins to find a way to keep him in left or right field even when Buxton returns.
