Hicks went 1-for-3 with his second home run of the season in a 3-2 loss against the Royals Sunday. The homer was Hicks' first hit in three games since returning from the DL. With Byron Buxton (thumb) out, Hicks has seemingly taken over as the primary center fielder for the Twins, but he's hit at or near the bottom of the order and that seems likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
