Hicks (shoulder) will not be an option off the bench against the Rangers on Monday and has not done more than mobility exercises and stretching, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

Hicks does not appear to be ready for game action just yet, even though he "has felt better." The outfielder is still dealing with lingering soreness from his injury that occurred on Friday against the Rays. Dustin Ackley will play right field Monday while Hicks remains sidelined.
