Hicks slotted into the starting lineup Wednesday, but Brett Gardner will replace him with right-hander Marcus Stroman on the hill for Toronto. Hicks punctuated his sluggish start with an 0-for-4 showing last evening, but he did get an RBI in the outing. That being said, Hicks' upside is limited while Gardner is taking most of the reps in left field.
