Heston was optioned to Triple-A on Friday, Amy Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area reports. Heston spent all of 2014 at Triple-A, posting a 3.38 ERA with 125 strikeouts over 173.0 total innings. He'll once again begin the season in Fresno in hopes of receiving a call-up at some point.
