Heston picked up the first win of his career as he allowed two unearned runs on three hits while striking out five and walking two Wednesday against the Diamondbacks. Heston started in place of Matt Cain (forearm) and gave up a run in the first inning without giving up a hit. He then proceeded to pitch five more effective innings to pick up the win. If he continues to pitch effectively, he may earn a starting job in the rotation for the Giants.
