Hernandez (elbow) is scheduled for three more minor league rehab outings, and will be reassessed after that, Nick Piecoro of AZ Central Sports reports. Hernandez suffered a bit of a setback in early-May, but he now appears ready to take the mound against live batters once more. The plan is for Hernandez need to pitch in back-to-back contests, and if all goes well there, a timetable could be laid out for his activation. He hasn't pitched in the majors since a shaky 2013 campaign, but if Hernandez can regain his 2012 form, he could be competing for a back-end bullpen role by this summer.
