Hernandez (elbow) has not thrown from a mound yet this spring, the Arizona Republic reports. Typically, relievers can get by with a shorter spring training if needed. Coming off of Tommy John surgery, Hernandez will likely be brought along more slowly, and his chances of starting the season on the 15-day DL are gradually increasing.
