Hendricks pitched four innings, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three in a no-decision Sunday vs. St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Through 11 starts, last year's ERA champ owns a career-high in ERA (4.09) and WHIP (1.20). His 34.1 percent walk rate is a far cry from the 23.2 mark Hendricks post in 2016. The 27-year-old's last two starts (nine runs over nine innings) have been extremely disappointing considering the favorable matchups. San Diego (Monday's opponent) is MLB's worst offense, and St. Louis is below average. That said, Hendricks is no longer a member of fantasy's "set it and forget it" class of pitchers. He'll make his next start at home Friday against Colorado.
