Hendricks' side session Tuesday didn't go as planned as he experienced some discomfort in his hand while throwing, so he'll need some more time off to recover before he is ready to rejoin to the starting rotation. While he's been ruled out for the weekend, it remains unclear when he'll be ready to come off the disabled list seeing as the Cubs don't plan on activating him until he is throwing completely pain free.
