Hendricks (7-6) pitched well on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks across 6.2 innings in a win over the Phillies. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks seems to never pitch gems, but he never gets blown up either. In all 28 of his starts, Hendricks has allowed between zero and five runs, except for once. The strikeouts have been consistent as well, as he has struck out between three and seven batters in 14 of his last 15 starts. It may sound harsh, but Hendricks is a boring player with a low ceiling and high floor who is usually good for a quality start with decent peripherals.
