Hellickson (5-3) gave up four earned runs on six hits and two walks over six innings in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Marlins. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Hellickson was much better than in his previous start versus the Rockies last Wednesday, when he was touched up for seven runs over five innings. He had one glaring mistake Monday -- a two-run home run by Derek Dietrich in his final inning -- but was otherwise solid over his six frames. A lack of run support did him in once again, and the Phillies have notably scored a combined three runs over Hellickson's last two trips to the mound. The 30-year-old right-hander has dropped three of his last four decisions after a 4-0 start and will look to rebound in a home start versus the Giants next Saturday.
