EDGE Analysis
This game wasn't played in Coors Field, but you wouldn't know it from Hellickson's end of the box score. Still, games like this have been the exception rather than the rule for him, as the righty's generally avoided big blow-ups. However, he hasn't been offering a whole lot of length or impressive stuff -- Hellickson has only finished six innings four times in 10 starts, and he has a putrid total of 22 strikeouts in 54.2 innings. That adds up to a 3.6 K/9, which is half of his whiff rate from the last four seasons.
