Hellickson (2-1) tossed seven shutout innings and allowed just two hits in Wednesday's victory over the Nationals. He also struck out eight and walked three.

The 29-year-old had a couple rough starts in a row but rebounded to allow just two hits, the fewest he's yielded in a start since August of 2014. Hellickson has never been a huge strikeout guy, but through five starts this season, he has 28 punchouts in 26 frames. He is scheduled to make his next start Monday against the Cardinals.
