Heisey will start in center field and bat sixth Wednesday against the Giants, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. Heisey joined the team in San Francisco on Tuesday and was officially recalled Wednesday, as expected. He replaced reliever Adam Liberatore on the active roster. Joc Pederson will head to the bench against lefty Madison Bumgarner, affording Heisey an opportunity to start in his Dodgers debut, but his tenure with the big club may be short barring a trade.
