Heisey was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reports. Heisey was brought up to take the roster spot of Joe Wieland, who was optioned to Oklahoma City after making a spot start Wednesday. The Dodgers' outfield is still crowded even with Carl Crawford and Yasiel Puig on the disabled list, so his playing time figures to be minimal, and come mainly against left-handers.
