Heisey (biceps) suffered a setback in his rehab and will be temporarily shut down, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heisey had played just two rehab games with Double-A Harrisburg before he was re-evaluated by trainers, who determined his arm had not fully healed. The 32-year-old is recovering from a right biceps tendon rupture and manager Dusty Baker said his outfielder may have been trying to rush back into action too quickly. Heisey will lay off baseball activities until his swelling goes down, at which point a new timetable for his return could materialize.
