Heaney picked up his first career win behind seven stellar innings Tuesday against the Yankees, as he allowed just one run on two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. A Mark Teixeira home run was Heaney's only blemish. The reclaimed Marlins prospect has looked brilliant in his first two Angels starts, as he has a 1.38 ERA and 12 strikeouts against three walks in 13 innings. Heaney was still ranked as the 25th-best prospect by MLB.com prior to the season despite a brutal 5.83 ERA in his debut stint with the Marlins. His early Angels career is showing why.
