Manager Mike Scioscia did not so far as to describe it as a setback for Heaney, but did acknowledge that the 24-year-old has hit a "plateau" in his recovery. Team doctors said initially that Heaney's UCL was healthy, with the diagnosis being a flexor muscle strain, but it's always possible the Angels could seek another opinion if Heaney doesn't start making progress again soon.
