Headley will start at first base and bat sixth Sunday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Though Headley will start for the second straight game since Greg Bird returned from the disabled list, it might be unwise for fantasy owners to pencil him for a full slate of starts during the upcoming week. Since lefty Andrew Albers is on the hill Sunday for the Mariners, the lefty-hitting Bird will head to the bench, but there's a good chance Bird will still pick up the bulk of the starts at first base against right-handed pitching. If that's the case, Headley would have to vie with Todd Frazier for starts at the hot corner when righties are on the mound for the opposition, which would limit the opportunities for both players to some extent.
