This doesn't come as much of a surprise, as Headley was expected to miss Tuesday's contest after being hit by a pitch on the right knee that forced him out of Monday's game early. The injury isn't thought to be overly serious, but the Yankees will afford him an extra day to heal up as the team's off day comes Wednesday. Ronald Torreyes will draw the start at third base in his stead.
