Hatcher was placed on the 15-day DL on Wednesday with an oblique strain, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. An MRI was ordered Wednesday after Hatcher reported feeling a "twinge" in his oblique during Sunday's outing. The results have not yet been disclosed, but Hatcher will require at least a couple weeks to recover. Scott Van Slyke (back) was activated to take Hatcher's place on the active roster.
