Harvey's recent struggles continued Wednesday against the Giants, as he allowed seven runs on nine hits, including a career-high three home runs, while walking two and striking out a career-low two batters. In his last four starts, Harvey has allowed 20 earned runs and eight home runs, which pales in comparison to the 12 and four he surrendered his first eight starts of the season. Harvey is missing his location and failed on Wednesday to have a put-away pitch. It's possible the extra rest he had lately is causing these issues or maybe it's a mild regression after a hot start coming off Tommy John surgery, but Harvey has looked like a shadow of his early season self.
