Harvey (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, the final hurdle before being activated from the DL and rejoining the Mets rotation Friday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
His last rehab start Saturday didn't exactly go well, as Harvey gave up five runs (three earned) over four innings while striking out only two for Double-A Binghamton, but the Mets were comfortable enough with what they saw to add the right-hander back to the roster. Harvey's been a shadow of his former self in 2017, posting a 5.25 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, 6.9 K/9 and 2.0 HR/9 through 13 big-league starts.
