EDGE Analysis
While this was an improvement over his prior three starts -- during which he went 0-3 while giving up 17 runs in 14.2 innings -- it's hard to paint it as a positive outing for Harvey. Sure, pitching in Arizona is no easy task, but more is expected of Harvey; after all, he's only 28 years old and was among baseball's best pitchers just two years ago. His velocity's still there, but his command and control are all over the place, which makes him hard to trust right now. With a 6.15 K/9 and 4.37 BB/9, Harvey has fallen way short of fantasy owners' expectations and should be deployed with caution accordingly.
