EDGE Analysis
Harvey was able to muster his first quality start in September at a critical time, while pitching the furthest he has into a game since an Aug. 11 appearance against Colorado. After a rocky start to the month in which he surrendered 17 hits and 11 earned runs over 11.2 innings in two starts, Harvey has now generated a sparkling 1.61 ERA over his last pair of trips to the mound. Harvey displayed solid control Saturday, refraining from handing out any free passes and throwing 73 of his 97 pitches for strikes. He also did not allow a ball to leave the yard, the seventh time over his last nine starts that he has not surrendered a homer.
