Harvey (12-7) took a no-decision Tuesday, giving up seven earned runs on eight hits while walking two and striking out six in an 8-7 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey wasn't quite as bad as his pitching line would suggest, as a Yoenis Cespedes fielding miscue allowed two questionable earned runs to score in the sixth inning. Nevertheless, Tuesday's start was Harvey's third of the year allowing seven earned runs. Harvey's outing didn't do much to inspire confidence among fantasy owners, especially with the threat of a regular season shutdown looming. Assuming the recently recalled Logan Verrett doesn't start in his place, Harvey is next scheduled to pitch Monday against the Marlins.
