Harrison (back) will not be present when pitchers and catchers report to Phillies camp Thursday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports. General manager Matt Klentak said, "We're not expecting him to be here any time soon, if at all this year. If things go well, we'll be happy to get him back, but the reality is we're kind of in a wait-and-see mode and we have to let it play out."
EDGE Analysis
Harrison wasn't expected to be ready for spring training, but this is the finishing touch to make it so. The southpaw's return is completely dependent on how well he can recover from his hyperthyroidism, which the Phillies have decided to take day by day and not rush him through his recovery.
