Harrison agreed to a four-year, $27.3 contract with the Pirates on Wednesday. The deal includes team options for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. The pact buys out Harrison's final two years of arbitration and also his first -- and possibly second and third -- years of free agency. Harrison is not a lock to remain at third base long-term, but he will likely play there as long as Neil Walker is in Pittsburgh, and could slide over to second base down the road unless Walker signs an extension of his own. Harrison is coming off a breakout season in which he hit .315 to go along with 13 home runs, 52 RBI, and 18 stolen bases.
