Haniger (oblique) will start in right field and bat second Sunday against the Blue Jays, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he was officially activated from the 10-day disabled list earlier Sunday following a successful five-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma, Haniger will be making his first appearance with the Mariners since April 25. The 26-year-old rolled to a .342/.447/.608 line over 95 plate appearances prior to sustaining the oblique injury and could need a few games to knock off the rust before he begins building on what had been looking like a breakout season. Jarrod Dyson will hit the bench Sunday in order to make room for Haniger in the outfield.
